Classified is a Belgian technology company from Antwerp that introduced a revolutionary Powershift 2-speed hub system after 7 years of R&D. The system replaces the front derailleur with an internal planetary gear system in the rear hub that shifts instantly, even under full load of up to 1000 watts.
In 2024/2025, Classified launched the complete Vistar // Powershift groupset in collaboration with TRP, a fully integrated 1x15 (gravel) or 1x16 (road) system with the largest gear range on the market (530%).
Classified stands for Belgian innovation and engineering that challenges the status quo in the bicycle industry. The Powershift concept eliminates the disadvantages of traditional front derailleur systems: chain drops, shifting under load, misaligned chain lines, and mechanical complexity. The 150ms shifting time makes Classified the fastest 'front derailleur' in the world - and completely silent. Powershift Hub CD27
The core of the Classified system: a high-performance 2-speed internal rear hub. Shifts from a 1:1 to a 0.686 ratio in less than 150 milliseconds, even under loads of 1000+ watts. Contactless energy transfer via Smart Thru-Axle. Available in 142x12mm (road/gravel) and 148x12mm Boost (MTB). Compatible with all major groupsets.
Monoblock steel cassettes CNC-machined from a single piece of steel. Specifically designed for integration with Powershift hub. Road: 11-30, 11-32, 11-34t. Gravel: 11-36, 11-40t.
Aerodynamically optimised carbon crankset with closed-face chainring design. MRP tooth profile. 46T to 52T chainrings available. Provides CFD-proven aerodynamic advantage.

Complete wireless 1x15 (gravel) or 1x16 (road) groupset in collaboration with TRP.
